Our roots

Mazars took its name from its founder Robert Mazars, back in western France in 1940. The company expanded full tilt and has become distinguished for its focus on technical excellence. In Brazil, Mazars started in 2002 from the initiative of José Eduardo Cabrera Fernandes. Over these two decades, it has consolidated nationwide by its capacity to offer intelligent solutions to companies of the most various profiles.

Since its establishment, Mazars has remained faithful to the ethical values of profound commitment, responsibility, and conviction that technical excellence and the passion for challenges make the key to success. It is by these values that throughout generations, Mazars has developed and attracted leading partners and professionals across all five continents. Today, it is present in 89 countries, with more than 23,000 professionals around the globe. In Brazil, the desire to overcome challenges caused José Eduardo Cabrera Fernandes to choose the path of entrepreneurship. In 2002, he joined his colleague and friend Uipiquer Gomes dos Santos, founding Cabrera Associados. Shortly after that, Éder Mutinelli joined the team to help them with new possibilities, such as auditing and consulting. The new company, which evolved based on passion, multi-intelligence, and professional excellence, joined Mazars global, becoming Mazars in Brazil. Throughout history, Mazars has cleared seas and overcame the most critical scenarios: overcame economic crises, won market variations, proved resilience, absorbed technological disruptions, all without diverging the route of progress. Currently, Mazars consolidated itself as a benchmark in consulting quality and at the forefront of business solutions with substantial added value.
