Mazars buys Domínio Assessores

The company now has more than 600 clients, over 850 employees and has plans to make further acquisitions in the sector

São Paulo, December 6, 2012 - Mazars, an international consulting company present in 71 countries, has just acquired Domínio Assessores, the second largest outsourcing company of Rio de Janeiro, with more than R$ 25 million in annual revenues and 330 employees. With the acquisition, it was born the fourth largest outsourcing company in the country with more than R$ 40 million annual revenues, 600 customers and over 850 employees. "Both companies are known in the market by the huge experience in outsourcing, with major customers, and a national and international reputation for outstanding quality services. Now we will enhance and add our talents "- says Eduardo Cabrera, MazarsCEO.

According to Antonio Carlos Azeredo, president of Domínio Assessores, customers and market gain from the union of the Mazars international expertise and deep knowledge of the Rios market by Domínio . "Our customers will benefit greatly from the expanded provision of services," said Azeredo, noting that the company has strong clients in areas such as Oil & Gas, Aviation, Transportation & Pharmaceuticals.

Eduardo Cabrera says the company's position as fourth in the ranking will be ephemeral. "In the next year already we should rise by at least a step. Besides having plans for new acquisitions, this movement in Rio will empower growth in a way never seen before. Our vocation is to be the first outsourcing company in the country in a not too distant horizon."

For Mazars, which has offices in São Paulo, Rio, Curitiba and Campinas, the opportunity of audit, consulting and financial services to the clients’ portfolio of Domínio’s services expands. "The customer will have a larger and stronger company," adds Cabrera, remembering that there has been a year since the negotiations took place, allowing an excellent knowledge of mutual companies. Currently, the business mix of Mazars is divided into 50% of revenue in outsourcing (outsourcing accounting, tax, financial and HR), 30% of audit and 20% of tax and business consulting and advising on transactions. 

"Outsourcing requires expertise, methodology and adequately qualified staff," said Cabrera. According to him, outsourcing requires a regimen of dedication and enormous attention, due to high demand and standardization of customers. "Customers demand agility, dedication 24 hours, proximity and rapidity in the accounting closing", he emphasizes. Mazars has as clients in the Outsourcing segment companies such as Burger King, SAP, Nike and American Express. Domínio has as clients companies like C & C Technologies, DOF Subsea, American Airlines, British Airways, Multiterminais, Lundbeck Brasil and VodaNet, among others.

 The acquisition is part of an expansion plan in Brazil that predicts a growth of over 150% in three years, reaching revenues of R$ 150 million. Brazil is one of the main focuses of Mazars worldwide.
