Declaration about cyber attack to Mazars Brazil

Please be advised that our cyber security procedures were initiated immediately to stop the cyber attack and eradicate the possibility of leakage from that moment onwards. Independent forensic experts are assessing the scope of the leaked data, as well as the root cause of this attack. We are contacting our customers in Brazil to keep them informed and answer their questions. Once we know the scope of which subset of data and which customers were affected, we will provide our customers, regulators, and any other relevant stakeholders with transparent and detailed information and take any necessary action.

All Mazars entities worldwide are operating with heightened levels of cybersecurity measures and we remain committed to exercising full transparency and cooperation with our customers and regulators anywhere in the world.

Mazars' IT infrastructure in Brazil is independent of Mazars in other countries. Therefore, there is no risk of spreading this attack from Brazil to any other data center of Mazars entities in the world: data relating to customers who contracted Mazars outside Brazil were not affected.
